Thank you for considering subscribing to SPEEDRATINGS. By now you have reached an estimation of its value. The question to be posed now is: how much does it cost?The answer is: It doesn't cost nearly as much as it is worth.
Speedratings is structured in the format of an information publication. It is in that respect that we offer SPEEDRATINGS on a subscription basis. The subscription price will be $30.00 for two months release of SPEEDRATINGS.The $15.00 per month is incredible value when compared to some of the other services provided, both on the internet or by telephone (who charge as much or more as a DAILY rate.). With so many race meetings to be covered the cost to the subscriber is approximately the cost of a daily newspaper. We can offer these prices because we operate with minimal overheads. We do not offer credit card services because the additional cost of this function is always passed on to you the consumer.
During the months of November and December there will be 21 metropolitan meetings covered. This equates to each of these meetings costing a meagre $1.42 per day. Less than a racebook. In addition, as a commercial service, we will now provide coverage of provincial race meetings where warranted.
You have by now read (I hope) all of the pages of information and data offered for your consideration. Every race meeting that we have covered is on open display, warts and all, every loss and every profit. We are not infallible; we cannot win every race. But if you have studied our history you must acknowledge that SPEEDRATINGS is a service of merit. It is full of information and advice that no serious punter should be without. It is with full knowledge of the success and potential of SPEEDRATINGS that I must add that I cannot guarantee that you will win using SPEEDRATINGS. We cannot watch over your shoulder and stop you from doing something that we would not recommend. We cannot stop an errant Irish jockey from knocking over Jezabeel in the Caulfield Cup when SPEEDRATINGS was sure to collect. Fate sometimes intervenes. I win because I treat horse racing with due respect. I love everything about horse racing-but I still treat it as a business. This does not mean that you should not enjoy the punt, rather, with SPEEDRATINGS it will be more enjoyable because of the constant value offered to you by our selections. We also promise that we will continue to maintain a high quality service and offer improvements as they arise. We will do our best to achieve success for our clients.
In the near future SPEEDRATINGS will incorporate SYDNEY racing as well as MELBOURNE. We anticipate that we will possess a viable Sydney data base early in the new year, 1999, but we will not release it to the public until it has been thoroughly tested over many sample meetings. This is an example of the improvements and increased services to be offered in the future.
It is our wish that subscribers should access our NEWS AND VIEWS page on a regular basis to read opinion and editorials and to keep up with the comings and goings of expatriated racehorses, those leaving our shores, those missing-in-action, and those deceased. We will also include news of interest from the Breeding Industry for the real devotees of the Racing Game.

Upon receipt of your e-mail I will contact you at your e-mail address to confirm that I have received your subscription advice and to provide you immediately with a SPEEDRATINGS rated meeting if one is impending.
